Art Fresh Exhibition @ The Mutual Gallery

Early this year, I submitted 2 triptychs to the Art Fresh Competition put on by the Mutual Gallery in Kingston Jamaica. They were both accepted, and featured in a month long exhibition.  I was honored to have been featured in the exhibition, and I look forward to entering more competitions and developing my name as a Photographer in Jamaica.

Alter Ego:

Alter Ego 1: The Devil Within

Alter Ego 2: The Influence Peddler

Alter Ego 3: Abdication of Self

Study of Eve:

Study of Eve 1: Anticipation

Study of Eve 2: Mother Divine

Study of Eve 3: The seeds of Love

Opening Night was March 8, 2012...and it was great! To have people looking at all the work submitted by the entrants, and to get the exposure that we all need as young, up and coming artists.
Here are some pics from Opening Night:

Thanks to my friends and family for all the support they gave me in making all of that happen, and for making one of my dreams as a photographer and an artist come true.

Next step? Trying out for a solo exhibition!!!

Our first Wedding Anniversary

I did a post last September on the anniversary hike hubby Julian Dadag and I went on, but I forgot to post pictures of our anniversary photo shoots!!

I believe that photos should be taken to help catalogue our lives together. Years from now when we are old and senile :) we can look back on these photos and think back on the many adventures we had as husband and wife.

First up are the photos from the Hope Gardens Anniversary shoot, taken by Kirk Martin and Roger Chuck; very good friends of ours :)

The photos you see above were the fun set that I wanted us to have...the second set of photos that you are about to see were taken in studio by Peter Ferguson (2 1/4 Works Ltd.). These were the 'formal' type of photos I wanted as well :)

Although these photos were taken last year, and although I thanked the photographers when they were taken, I would like to thank them again...for helping us make memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives :)

Adam Atterbury (my second nephew)

It's been a while since I've posted anything on my blog, and I apologize to my followers.
I'm going to play catch up now, and first thing on the list is the birth of my nephew Adam in December 2011.

I was lucky enough to visit my sister before the baby was born, and as a result I was able to be in the delivery room with her and witness the amazing wonder of birth.

Adam Kristopher Atterbury, born December 3, 2011 at 12:25pm; 7 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long. He made quite the impression with all the nurses and doctors, and most of all, with his family.
His mom did a great job during delivery and both mom and baby were happy and healthy :)

I had never felt such a wide range of emotions in such a short space of time (she only pushed for 25 minutes). Once i saw his face, the world changed and I was in love.

When big brother Alex came to see his new baby brother, he was a little shy at first...understandably since this was something new, but once he laid eyes on little Adam...it was love at first sight. Alex took on the role of protective and helpful big brother instantly :)

After my sister and the baby got home from the hospital, I took as many pictures of him as possible...this tiny wonder in our lives :)

I hope you like the selection I post below.
Remember...nothing in life is promised. Love your family and be there for one another :)
